Gastritis causes and solutions
Gastritis is a common digestive disorder that affects
millions worldwide. It occurs when the stomach lining becomes inflamed or
irritated due to various reasons. The problem usually gets worse over time and
can cause severe complications like esophageal ulcers and bleeding.
Gastritis is caused
by bacteria and/or viruses. People with gastric reflux disease (GERD) are at
higher risk of developing gastritis because their stomach acid comes back into
contact with the lower part of the esophagus. This leads to mucus build-up that
creates a thick layer of mucous on the inside surface of the throat. When that
happens, the person gets sore throats, hoarseness, cough, difficulty swallowing,
heartburn, bloating, constipation, diarrhea, gas, vomiting.
Gastritis is generally
treated through lifestyle changes. Other treatments include medications such as
H2 blockers and proton pump inhibitors. They reduce the amount of acid produced
from the stomach and help heal the stomach lining.
Gastritis is inflammation of the stomach lining and occurs
due to different reasons. Gastritis may result from infection, food poisoning,
alcohol consumption etc. In this article we have to see about gastritis causes
and treatment.

Gastritis prevents foods
Gastritis is inflammation of stomach lining caused by
various food and drink items. There are many types of gastric ulcers and
different forms of gastritis. Certain foods cause specific type of gastritis.
These foods include spicy, acidic, fried, carbonated drinks, alcohol, coffee,
tea, chocolate, cheese, red meat, tomatoes, pickled products, pepperoni pizza,
etc. Gastritis can occur due to overuse of medication (anti-inflammatory
drugs), infections, surgery, poor diet, smoking, excessive alcohol consumption,
certain medications and/or genetics.
If you get frequent
bouts of heartburn and regurgitation, then chances are that you have gastroesophageal
reflux disease, or GERD. GERD occurs when acid refluxes back into the
esophagus, causing irritation and damage to the mucosal lining. If left
untreated, symptoms may worsen and include nausea, vomiting, diarrhea,
difficulty swallowing, and weight loss. In severe cases, complications
including erosion of the inner lining of the esophagus, bleeding, narrowing of
the esophagus and stricture may occur.
