What does urine color say about your health

                  Causes of urine color changes

Millions of people live with various types of kidney disease, but many of them are unaware of it. That's why kidney disease is often called the 'silent killer', as most people don't feel any difference until the disease gets worse.

While people regularly check their blood pressure, sugar and cholesterol levels to detect undiagnosed kidney problems, they fail to perform a simple creatinine blood test.

The only sure way to diagnose kidney disease is to do tests to confirm the disease, let's take a look at some of the early warning signs of kidney disease.

Why urine color is change

Fatigue

If you're tired of doing nothing, it's time to talk to a professional. This symptom is worrisome and may indicate the presence of some underlying health problem.

Lack of appetite

If you are not hungry or unable to eat, it could indicate a serious health problem. Generally, people with kidney disease experience this symptom.

Ankle and foot swelling

This is also one of the few common symptoms of kidney disease. Do not ignore these signs under any circumstances.

Dry skin

Due to decreased kidney function, toxins accumulate in the body leading to itchy, dry and smelly skin.

Changes in urine

One should monitor one's urine output very carefully. For example, your urine output decrease or not, you may feel the need to urinate more often, especially at night.

high blood pressure

High blood pressure can be a symptom of kidney disease. Any person diagnosed with high blood pressure should have tests to monitor their kidney function.

Blood in urine

Healthy kidneys normally keep blood cells in the body as they filter waste from the blood to make urine, but if the kidney's filters are damaged, these blood cells can start to 'leak' into the urine. In addition to signaling kidney disease, blood in the urine can indicate tumors, kidney stones, or infection.

Foamy discharge of urine

A large number of bubbles in the urine are especially indicative of high protein in the urine. Because albumin, a common protein found in urine, is the same protein found in eggs, this foam may look like the foam you see when you scramble eggs.

puffy eyes

Protein in the urine is an early sign that the kidney's filters are damaged, allowing protein to leak into the urine. This puffiness around your eyes may be caused by your kidneys leaking too much protein into the urine.
